Last year we built a new house and the first thing I did was to go to Ellen to see if the allowance our builder gave us for the kitchen and bathroom cabinetry was within reason. We had a good idea of what we wanted, but had no idea if our dreams could be realized within our budget restraints.
We had lived in a home for 18 years with custom-built cabinets that were first quality and we wanted the same quality of doors and drawers in our new kitchen.
